Warm your room. Earn Bitcoin as it runs.
Meet the Canaan Avalon Mini 3: an electric room heater that also mines Bitcoin. See how its estimated earnings could cover part of the electricity cost.

Loading the current mining reference. Heat and electricity are calculated separately.
A 30-day illustration at the selected daily hours, full listed power and 100% of the heat kept in the room. Today’s mining reference is held constant for this example. Equipment, installation, pool and transaction fees, maintenance, extra pumps and financing are excluded. This is not a profit or payback calculation.
What is included in the estimate?
The Mini 3 estimate uses its listed power, your running hours and the EUR electricity price shown above. Gross mining revenue is converted from USD only with a fresh rate, then scaled to 30 days. This is an illustration, not profit or a payback forecast.
This reference is not your final bill. Taxes, network charges, supplier fees and other costs may differ.
The manufacturer specifies up to 800 W. Eco, Night and thermostat operation can reduce power, heat and mining output. Actual room temperature depends on insulation, weather and heat loss.
A heater with a second job
Mini 3 heats the surrounding air while mining Bitcoin. Its setup includes an app, a mining pool and a Bitcoin wallet.

Choose the room
Use it where you need supplementary electric heat. We can help you check the heat requirement, noise and electrical supply.

Connect and set it up
Connect power and Wi-Fi, then set up the Avalon Family app, a mining pool and a Bitcoin wallet. We can explain these steps before you buy.

Heat while it mines
Run it when heat is useful. Bitcoin earned through a mining pool can offset some electricity cost; the amount varies and fees apply.

Designed to live in a room
A radiator-style enclosure, adjustable heating and control through the Avalon Family app. Check the operating mode that suits your space before buying.
- Set a target temperature. In heating mode, the device can pause when the room is warm enough.
- Fans are audible. Canaan lists 35–55 dB depending on the operating mode; it is not a silent radiator.
- Up to 800 W suits a room-level heat requirement. It does not establish that one unit can heat your whole apartment.
Device dimensions: 76 × 10.4 × 21.45 cm.
See Canaan’s Mini 3 guideChoose how you want to heat
Match the setting to your room and the time of day using the Avalon Family app.

- Heater · Eco
- 500 W heating setting. Set your target room temperature; the device can idle when that temperature is reached.
- Heater · Super
- 800 W heating setting. The calculator above uses the listed full-power figures, rather than an Eco or Night-mode estimate.
- Night mode
- Adjusts fan speed and power for quieter heating. Heat output, noise and mining earnings change with the operating setting.
A few things to know first
Do I need to understand Bitcoin?
You will need a wallet and mining-pool setup to receive Bitcoin. You do not need to trade it to use the heater. Ask us to explain the setup and payout conditions before buying.
Will it heat my whole apartment?
The Mini 3 is rated up to 800 W. Whether that is enough depends on the room, insulation, weather and your existing heating. We assess the room rather than promise a number of square metres.
Is the heating free?
It still uses electricity. Mining may return part of that cost, but the amount changes. The calculator separates the electricity cost, gross mining value and the amount remaining. The device price and other costs are additional.
Can it run quietly at night?
Canaan lists 35–55 dB across operating modes. Night mode adapts the power and reduces output. The full-power calculator is not a prediction of Night-mode noise, heat or earnings.
What if I already have central heating?
Treat the Mini 3 as supplementary room heating unless your installer confirms otherwise. It does not automatically reduce a fixed apartment or district-heating charge.
Is the monthly amount guaranteed?
No. It is a 30-day illustration using the current Bitcoin reference and your selected hours. Network conditions, Bitcoin price, fees, downtime and thermostat operation all affect the actual result.
Would it suit your apartment?
Tell us about the room, your current heating and electricity price. We will help you check the fit and explain the setup.
