Keep the keys to your crypto.

Tangem pairs a card-sized hardware wallet with a phone app. The card holds the keys that authorise transactions; you review the details in the app and tap the card to approve.

For a compatible iOS or Android phone with full NFC support. Check your phone and crypto network before buying.

Your phone and card work together

The app shows your wallet and transaction details. The card holds the keys used to approve transactions. Your crypto stays on its blockchain.

  1. Start with the official app

Install the Tangem app from the manufacturer’s official links. Have your compatible NFC phone and all the cards from your set ready.

  2. Create your wallet and backup

Follow the card-wallet setup in the app. Create the backup with your cards during setup, and understand how you will restore access before adding funds.

  3. Keep your backups separate

Use a card with the app to approve transactions. Keep the linked backup cards in different safe places so losing one does not mean losing every copy.

The extra cards back up the same wallet. Choose the set that fits where you can safely keep your backups.

Available card sets

Create the backup during setup and keep the cards in separate safe places. More cards do not create separate wallets.

Check compatibility before buying

Check that Tangem supports your phone and the exact coins and networks you use.

  • Your phone needs full NFC support and a compatible version of the official Tangem app.
  • Check the exact asset and network, especially for tokens such as USDT. Support for one network does not imply support for another.
  • The card has no screen. Review the address and transaction details in the phone app before approving.

Questions before your first wallet

Where is my crypto stored?

Your crypto remains on its blockchain. The hardware wallet protects the keys used to authorize transactions, while the app displays the wallet and prepares transactions.

What is the difference between two and three cards?

Both sets back up one wallet. A two-card set gives you one card to use and one backup; a three-card set gives you two backups. Create the backup during the initial setup and store the cards separately.

What happens if I lose a card or my phone?

A linked backup card can provide access to the same wallet using a compatible phone and the required access code. If you used a seedless setup and lose every linked card, access can be lost permanently. Recovery options depend on your model and setup; read the official recovery guide before you begin.

Does Tangem work with every phone?

No. The phone needs full NFC support and a compatible operating system and app version. Use the manufacturer’s compatibility guide before buying, even if your phone supports contactless payments.

Can I keep Bitcoin, Ethereum or USDT?

Check the exact coin or token and its blockchain network on Tangem’s supported-assets page. The network matters: the same token name may be used on several different networks.

Is it a payment or bank card?

The Tangem card wallet shown here is hardware used with the app to authorize crypto transactions. It is not itself a bank card for paying at a terminal. Tangem Pay and other services have separate requirements and availability.

Do these sets support a recovery phrase?

Recovery choices depend on the Tangem generation and the setup you choose. The generation of the sets in our current store listing is not specified. Ask us to confirm the exact kit and follow its official setup guide rather than assume a recovery option.
